The Detroit Children's Museum, now part of the newly-reopened Michigan Science Center has loads of hands on activities. The website offers free printable lesson plans to supplement learning stations at the museum. Happily, the activities can be used independent of a visit as stand-alone lessons. Teachers, homeschool families, parents, you can print directly from the website without needing an access pass (many museums require that you take a field trip to use their printable material).
